I'm still here around alive. then a short little joke with a picture of himself and about 10 more back-and-forth texts I was the last one not to respond and have not heard from him since it's been two days and I'm still blocked from Facebook. Why does he no longer want me in his life? He's put a lot of effort into making sure we can be friends meaning that it's OK with my husband and his girlfriend. why would he end our friendship so sudden?

So I've recently gained about 25lbs. Going from 130 to 155 at 5'4. Husband keeps making the same rude comments about how if I keep eating I'm going to swell up, if I have a snackhe'll say what are you doing and he'll keep staring me down till I tell him I'm having a snack which I usually a yogurt or cheese or yea a cookie. Tonight after supper I had a few gram crackers he just looks at me asking me what do I think I'm doing. Yes I'm EATING I say. He'll pinch my fat and tell me that he doesn't know how much more weight I'm going to gain. Shit like that. Listen all of my life I've been too thin, to the point where mean people have accused me of having an eating disorder to being on drugs. Plus my health is terrible so I'm finally on meds that allow me to have an appetite so I can finally eat when I'm hungry. We've been together forever but I'm getting sick of his mean comments. He says he's just joking then got mad at me when I told him that hurts my feelings tonight. My question: is he actually joking or is he for real a jerk? What do y'all think?

Okay, first, she's not officially engaged yet, but she and the guy she is dating have been together for 7 years and plan to get married in the next couple years. And she's a bit of a ditz.

She was like my best friend when we were waitresses together, but when I started my career and moved 45 minutes away, it was hard to get in touch with her. She came to see me once and she never returns phone calls or texts, even now that I've moved back. And whenever she does call back, it's usually after at least a week and she only talks about herself. I came to see her when I first moved back a couple months ago and her 18 year old neighbor was there and referred to her fiance as 'boyfriend person or whatever'. I look at confused and said, 'Um, you have a ring on your finger, so wouldn't he be your fiance?' and she said yes.

My friend then looked at me and said, 'I know what you're thinking. How can she find a husband at 18 and I'm 26 but can't even get a guy to commit to me?' and then laughed, which isn't what I wasn't thinking at all. When I confronted her about it, she told it was a joke and moved on to the next topic.

Then she told me she wants me to be a bridesmaid in her wedding, but since I'll be the only black one, she wants me in the middle so we look like an inside out Oreo. She also told me her dog is racist and I'm the only black person she's ever responded well to. Yes, my friend is white.

Honestly, I really don't want to be in her wedding. I think we've grown way too far apart and, frankly, she is REALLY getting on my nerves. She first asked like 3 years ago which is when I promised to do it, but now that we've gotten together a few times, I don't even want to go to it.

Should I go because of a promise a made years ago or should I just tell her no? I don't dislike her, but I'm not really feeling being in her wedding.
