I had some little neighbor friends years ago and they came over to play ever now and then. The little boy and girl were really sweet and their older siblings were there, so I suggested they get married for 3 hours and everyone liked the idea. So I married them there for 3 hours with the instruction, they no have to be really nice to each other!:) Didn't think about any negative consequences, I was 20... and not very bright bulb... ya know?

I did not invite their parents, it was an impromptu "blowing bubbles wedding".
Was this wrong?
What rules would you give to 6 year olds when getting married... at...6 years old?

Im sorry to say, I don't think that relationship lasted much more than 2 hours.

P. S. before anyone posts about certain religions (or anyone else) marrying children, yea... that is just sicko! These are platonic kid... learn to be nice weddings and share dessert.

A traditional relationship would mean the guy is the bread winner and makes most of the decision but still loves and respects his woman and is extremely loyal.

A modern relationship would mean the guy doesn't pay for the girl on dates, both partners would split decisions up 50/50 and he might also have some platonic girl friends and so will the girl.

If you are the one who broke up the relationship

Are you trying to maintain a friendship to assuage your guilt over the break up? That's not a good reason to maintain a friendship.

How will your next partner feel about you spending time with the guy or girl who was sharing your bed last summer?

Don't you know your ex has some hope of eventually reuniting with you?

If you are the one who didn't want the break up

Be honest with yourself; aren't you wanting to hang on to this person in hopes of them realizing how much they miss you and need you in their life?

When you try to move forward, how should your new partner feel about the fact that you are still spending time with the guy or girl who was your sexual partner three months ago?

To me, all of the above arguments make sense, but I have only once tried to maintain a friendship with a former girlfriend. I broke up because, after two years, she did not love me and was not a dedicated girlfriend and I did not want to waste the rest of my life on her. We had a tremendous span of common interests and we could have been good friends if we had not first been lovers. After a few months of seeing her just sporadically, I realized that I as trying to hang on to the hope that she would want me. I realized that what I was doing was pathetic and I simply let go of her.
