About 1 year prior to the end of the relationship, guy A meets girl C, who is a good friend of some of his best friends. In that period she starts hanging out with their group of friends a lot and she is interested in guy A who doesn’t reciprocate. Girl C hangs out with A more and more.

After his breakup with B, A starts drinking and partying a lot. About a week after the breakup, he and C end up in bed together drunk.
