regardless of the perpetrator's gender?

I'm just wondering since I'm from New Zealand and how our justice system works... or USED to work, we had a thing called provocation in our law, which somewhat prevents gender (and racial) bias from judges and courts in a way. It's no coincidence at all that the biggest opposers of the provocation laws are Feminists and the LGBTQ community. Americans on the other hand, seemed to have always believed since their existance, that no females can do wrong and should only get a slap on a the wrist judging by my observation of many American crimes on foreign newspapers that I get from an American friend of mine (who've I met through a study abroad college program) through email and snail mail. Plenty of violent crimes involving women seem to get completely ignored because people refuse to believe such "delicate" and "innocent" beings like women are violent and irrational. Unfortunately for my country, our provocation law has been abolished several years ago and now it seems as though many people in my city regret this abolition.

Don't get me wrong, I'm completely against a man hitting a woman and believe in women having equal rights but not if it strictly only benefits the female gender while all the women refuse to take the equal amount of responsibility for their actions as men. If I had the political power, I would definitely create another provocation law that is more reasonable with some small restrictions. As for you Americans and your problems, I'd rather not look into it any more deeper since it's happening in my country. Therefore, shouldn't be mine and my country's problems.

Anyways, back to my question.

I noticed that American women are very strict on their racial preferences. I am Indian-American, and am fit with a good salary and have a good friend circle and social skills. Despite this, White women have tossed me over, just for being Indian. Same goes to Americanized Asians and Indians and Latinas. I have had luck with some Asian and latina women. But, I have been to Europe and Japan as part of a study abroad program in college. And I noticed that Japanese and European women were a lot nicer to me and a lot more flirty and sexual. When I told the White American women that I am Indian, they just don't care or lose interest. But, foreign women become curious and start flirting even MORE.

I get that the media is to blame. But, Europe and Japan are exposed to the same forms of media, and even dub movies into local languages.

Is Europe really better for single minority men? Women there are also more approachable than women here.

It's like its a foreign thing for men to wear sweaters not sweat shirts. Swat shirts and sweaters are different. Also why is it okay for women being able to wear leggings as pants but for males its not acceptable. Why is it even when its male clothing they still get called names? Why can't our society be more accepting of what people wear? Also there is so much selection of colors and patterns that would seem 'girly' to the public. I am not joking you look in stores the most common pattern for males is stripes, camouflage, or plaid. I know there will be some people saying that oh its out there but you just have to special order them online. Like NO you can't just go shopping and see everyday casual leggings for out in public and lounge wear. its just not possible. Also why is it that its fine for girls to wear male clothing and it's not the other way around. Like FOR REAL! male wearing a girl shirt? okay or no? Girl wearing a guy shirt? okay or no? I know someone will say ohhhhh body types it doesn't work and male clothing is like the standard and universal but WHYYY can't it be the other way? I know someone out there will say that oh men have a lot of privilages over women just because they are men. I understand that too but I mean look at it with a perspective of that may not be actually happening. Also people who say "just do it and don't care what other people say" but on the inside i think they are the ones who judge too.

YouGov does all sorts of surveys, and when a survey ends, not only can you see the final results, but you can also, if you choose, see the breakdown. Breakdown is available to show how people voted based on age, political leaning, gender, financial status, or region.

One thing I have noticed, which strikes me as weird, is that almost every single survey that has a yes/no/i don't know breakdown, more women vote "I don't know" than men. On EVERY subject.

Now, I am not insinuating that women are in any way less capable of knowing about, thinking about, or caring about issues. There are people in every demographic who vote "I don't know," and it is a perfectly legitimate stand to take. I have voted it a few times, when I either did not know enough about the topic discussed, or I had an idea of what I liked more, but I aso acknowledged that there were consequences for that idea, so voting "I don't know" seemed a good way to suggest that I saw both sides of the issue.

However, women seem almost twice as likely as men to vote that way. If a survey shows 17% of guys voted that, usually around 34% of women have also. This ranges from surveys on foreign policy, to whether Uber drivers and taxi drivers should have the right to a gun in their car, to whether sugary foods should be taxed, to whether female athletes who have been domestic abuse instigators should face the same in-sport suspensions and penalties as male athletes do, to just about anything else you can imagine.
