i never went to a house party or so called private party when i was in high school which would of been like around the year 2000's. maybe it doesn't matter now but a part of me is still bitter that i would of been treated that poorly by people my own age in my home town. who felt it was ok to treat me poorly and socially exclude me.

i can't recall exactly what the reason was as to why i wasn't ever invited or not allowed to attend. don't recall anyone ever telling me a specific reason , i also never once attempted to gain entry to a party uninvited. so i don't know what would of happened had i showed up to one.
also didn't have a part time job in high school so i wouldn't of even been invited to a staff holiday party when they still had those. only social event i can recall attending was a dance and holiday formal both of which were obviously held by the school and not at private residences.
recall that i was somewhat socially awkward back then and ate lunch alone at a pizza place downtown away from the school cause i liked the walk and break. i remember being told that guys there hated that i liked to look at there girlfriends and check them out. not sure if that is a possible reason as to why i was excluded or not. but i don't recall any girls saying they''d be uncomfortable with me being around them at such events

guess it all was a long time ago but a part of me is bitter that i didn't get to experience some of the normal things teens got to do at that age

I wanted to ask this because I’m on the fence about what one I should look for, but I’m leaning towards friends with benefits. So I’m 27 and still live at home with my parents, I also don’t have any friends and have never had a girlfriend. This is why I’m thinking a friends with benefits would be better for me, because I feel like not many girls would want to be in a relationship with me, considering all of that. But with a friends with benefits, they probably won’t ever meet your friends anyway so that won’t be an issue and we could always meet at hotels for sex instead of her coming to my place for that, what do you think?
