So, I knew this guy before high school at my middle school and have always been somewhat close friends... I don't know if he ever thought of me but i was always a little bit interested in him, but he had dated two of my close friends and i just shut down the idea. The first couple weeks before he asked me to homecoming, it seemed like we were just as close as we had been before, although he now tries to deliberately sit next to me, talk a lot more, and walk me back to class multiple times. So at this point i was unsure if he was actually going to change anything, then a friend hinted at him asking me. A couple days later he did, it was a super sweet and well thought out thing. But i can't help but wonder if he just wanted someone to go to homecoming with as a friend and maybe not a prospective relationship. Him not normally texting me confuses me too, is he just not a good communicator or does he not interested enough to care? After having these doubts i asked around to find some answers somewhat successful. One friend had said that he told her that he didn't want to ruin things between us the way they were. Another credited herself with planting the idea in his head to ask me. How do i know if he just wants to be friends or something more? Honestly I have no idea, and help would be much appreciated!
