While delusions, hallucinations, retardation and the like are serious brain problems one cannot deny that most mental illnesses are bullshit. The business not only cheats people of their money, but is also dangerous to a person's well being. It demotivates people and makes them believe that something is wrong with them. Which is obviously going to make them feel bad and believe that they need medication or "help" to make things better. This stops them from growing, finding their own way and taking charge.

The failure rate of psychiatrists is about 70-80%. Out of the small percentage of patients who feel better, the cure is only temporary and they have to be on drugs for years and very often for life. Often these drugs fuck up people even more. What's worse is that most psychiatrists have a mental disorder themselves (70% iirc) like "anxiety" or "depression".

This business needs to go, for the most part.

When imeet my now wife, we were in love hard core, happy all the time, I've always treated her with respect and she was the only woman in the world i could see. Then she got pregnant, and shut changed, iwas happy about being a dad, and she acted like she was too. But out of no where she became a child bitch, talking about needing space and Shit. Then around our baby shower she started acting normal again so proposed to her, she accepts. Well, turns out she was cheating on me foramonth while6months pregnant. Ididn't find out till 4years later and on kid number2. Iuse to look at her with the love of the world in my eye. I seriously had a sparkle in my eye every time she walked into the room. And now, a full year afterD-day, ican't look at her with the same wonder, sometimes i can't even look at her in the eye. I love her so much, if she had told me when it happened i would have surely kicked her out. Causeb4 we made the commitment to each otherilayered it all out in the table, iwould never make her do anything, I'll always support act protect her, I'll deal with your crazy days and i can can handle anything you will go threw. Butican't handle being cheated on. That's it, I'll be there for you for the rest of your life if you want, just be faithful. and she agrees. So, she kept it a secret from Me for4 years, by this timei have started my life and family with her. It hurts knowing that I'm not important enough to fallow the1 thing i needed to be happy. We've been in Councling and she quit her job to stay home with thekids. But can't enjoy any of the pricless moments a man should with his family cause when they happen i kinda realise it, you know, those times you make a mental movie cause you know it's a milestone, and always get taken over by her fucking someone else and tearing apart our family. She has ruined my dad moments it seems. Is there any hope for us?

I had a gf, which I really really really loved, I was suicidal at the time and had a pretty bad moment and tried to commit suicide, her parents removed any contact between us, I went to a mental hospital for 3 months, we managed to talk after a while, it was dangerous to meet each other bcz of the consequences, we met after 15 months ( met few days ago ) we kissed again but it feels weird to me, she had a relationship with an other guy, and sex with 2 other ( one of which she got pregnant ) I still really love her but am just being used?, what do you think

So I will describe my character and tell me what i asked on the title. Im doing this for my own reasons.. see what I can learn from others' opinions and improve on myself. Here I go:

Im shy unless I get to talk with you some times. Then I open up.
I overthink situations.
I have some trust issues due to bad past relationships.
I'm the humorous and (mostly) romantic type
Im the athletic gamer type.
I hang out with friends 2 times in 2 weeks (just because I had a mental trauma and still haven't got over it completely)
I dedicate to my partner when Im in a relationship and I dont take her for granted.
I have given my ex my whole heart. I was not appreciated fully but I still believe we will be together in the future.
When I'm in a good mood I can be a great stand up comedian but Im also a black/cold humorist when im in passive mood.
I'm not the social/famous guy of the school/well-known type.
I would never cheat my ex or future girlfriend.
I am a bit dreamy and creative.
I like to make things like motor model planes and no Im not a geek xD
