Each day more and more places have these application systems installed. But what's the point?

1. When someone turns in an application it gives the manager a chance to put a face and personality on each person. But now you don't even have the chance to go in the store.

2. You end up wasting hours upon hours taking and retaking the same quiz's over. Some even repeat the same test. These are for simple positions that any person can do.

3. All these test have an extra "optional question" attached that basically ask you for you skin color. Has it ever occurred that the ONLY thing that makes your application appear different then the person next to yours is your Name and Skin color? You can have All hours open, experience, college and a clean record and pass the little quiz but not get hired over a blond hair blue eyed brat who sucks at the job.

I have tested this personally with 3 friends.

We all did the quizzes the same at 5 locations.

Same school, everything But.

I put college, they did not

I put all hours open, they picked a confusing busy set of times.

I put experience and they left it blank.

When it came down to it the only difference was our names and color.

We all put the same phone number and they both got called in by a white manager but me.
