Girlfriend giving out her phone number to other men

I've been hurt in the past and I have got some trust issues. my girlfriend has always been really friendly with everyone especially guys.

now I have a question...is giving your number out to a guy wrong if your in a relationship...or does it completely depend on the situation.

i mean she says she won't give her number to a guy on a night out etc, but she will in other circumstances, like for example she did jury service with a group of people for 2 or more weeks and she swapped numbers with a few of the people there including the guys...just annoys me when I find one guy has text her to go out for a drink etc

ive told her I trust her just don't trust guys, I should know, I was just the same when I was single, playing every dirty trick in the book... and they don't give a fcuk if she got a boyfriend or not! and I'm sad to say it she's either to stupid to know what's going on, as everything is "banter" as she can't really when a bloke is hitting on her.

she doesn't rise to it but I will constantly be asking "who's that" when someone texts her, its getting annoying not only for me but for her and she thinks I don't trust her. but I say its tit for tat. I don't out giving my number to girls because I respect her so why should she?

am I overacting? am I being possessive/controlling or my thoughts justified? and if I'm right how can I put this across to her without making her angry( which is always gets when I talk about problems in our relationship)

When the guys flirt with her, does she tell them that she has a boyfriend and/or isn't interested? If so, I don't think it's a big problem. It's respectful to you if she makes sure they know she's not available.

You say you trust HER, but not them. I used to be like that, so I completely understand what you mean, but the thing is... If you trust her not to do anything, then why does it matter what THEY do? If you trust her to make sure that they know she's not available, then they can flirt with her all the want but they're not getting anywhere with it.

I understand what you're going through, so I think your thoughts are justified, BUT not rational. I think a good compromise would be to ask her to please let it be known that she's not "up for grabs." That way you don't have to control her to the extent that she's not allowed to talk to any other guys at all. Forbidding her from doing something might make you feel temporarily better, but it isn't going to build true trust OR help you get over your issues from the past.

hell no that's your girl she should never give out her number to any guy now a girl yea that's a friend but add a man to the mix and its a mess I've done it a few times with my boyfriend now only 3 times and every time a guy wanted me to sleep with them or cheat behind my mans back. so i9 said forget it plus your a guy you know how the game is played a girl gets a guy and now all the guys want her you need to explain to her what guys do if after she still does it and doesn't care who has her number she probably heading out and saying goodbye to you if she keeps doing it after you tell her how you feel and what guys do it means she cares nothing about you or your feeling I'm sorry to say but its life people only go for looks instead of what's in there heart and how they treat you

thats a major no no..phones numbers will turn out to "lets get together for a few drink" then I don't even have to finish the rest ...you know people do stupid things when they have alcohol in their system. and beside that's so disrespectful o your face dude
