Search Results: confidence issues

I can't help but feel like this may be true sometimes. Well, for me anyway.

Like, people who are too weak to ask for help for their "issues", much like myself, just cry out in hopes of receiving attention andvalidation. Things like, "you matter", "life is precious", "think of your loved ones,". It's all very kind and sweet, but the individual in question never seems to take it to heart for long. As soon as their self worth/love/confidence/ego fade away fro whatever reason, they just clamber back onto that stage and bask themselves in the warmth of the spot light. Like a lizard sunning itself in a cozy beam of warmth to escape the cold. And once it got its fill, crawls back into the shadows to slowly freeze and fester until it needs the sun again.

They don't like this, you know. It's almost unbearable. But not quite enough to where they take the final step necessary to end their "suffering". Most of the time, it's self-inflicted. So are they really depressed or are they just unstable?
