A few years ago I had a coworker in another department ask me out on a date. Thought I hadn't dated in a while, might as well. She changed the plans from getting drinks to hanging out at her place. She gave hints she totally wanted to have sex, but also wouldn't shut up about her ex. I hadn't dated in a few years, so I was disappointed this was my first experience. Plus she still lived at home with a large family that wasn't mentioned.
I left the date and didn't sleep with her, and struggled to schedule another. I gave up. Then she got back with her ex.

For the better part of a year she kept sending mixed signals and would make sure I knew when they weren't together. Continued on and off BS.

We got to a point where we talked and texted again, she gave more hints about wanting sex, even getting all touchy while at work. But she was with the boyfriend still.

After more of the on and off and the conversation always being about the boyfriend, I just don't bother talking to her anymore.

But she's started trying to find any excuse to talk to me and gets very jealous when I talk to any of the attractive female coworkers. She'll even come interrupt just to stop it or try to talk to me.

My friends say two things. She's upset I didn't act on her advances or she's still super into me and wants what she can't have but won't leave the boyfriend due to comfort.

A few months ago, I drunkenly texted a female friend a flirty message even though I have a girlfriend. My girlfriend and I are working through this issue. I work with the girl I texted and when out in a group for work, drinks are often involved for the whole team. My girlfriend has asked me to not drink around this girl. Because she still doesn’t trust me. I respected her wishes one time but felt extremely left out of the group and as if I were a social pariah. Yesterday, I saw this girl again at a work event and, though I told my girlfriend that I wouldn’t drink if the girl was around, I did anyway. I enjoy drinking. And I enjoy hanging out with my coworkers. I love my girlfriend but I have to drink when I’m out with the group. Everybody else is doing it and I want to be liked. I feel insecure when everybody around me is drinking and I’m not. Am I just being selfish or does this seem like an actual problem?

I don’t know if she’s interested in me are not, because she do a lot of weird stuff like closing the doors when I’m coming or placing her feet in the way when I’m about to walk past her without saying anything, abs some other stuff, do you think I should buy her the Valentine gift or run?
