OK, so my sister has a girlfriend who goes to christian church every week who admitted to her mother this weekend that she is having sex with some guys for money.

My sister knew she was having sex with more than one guy, but not that she was getting paid for it.

Since her friend hangs around boys from upper income families who's kids have money provided to them, she told my sister now that she's been caught, that she does it for the money that she gets from the guys.

Why would she do this if she goes to church?

Can you do this sort of thing and still be a christian?

What if she keeps doing it?

Is it because her parents make her go to church when she doesn't really want to, or is it because she doesn't really believe that the bible says what she is doing is wrong?

Her mother was able to open her daughters phone somehow and discovered some texts from more than one guy asking her how much she would charge to preform certain sexual acts for them, which they named, and she told them how much.

It made her mother's jaw drop and first become suspicious, and then after doing more checking, found a large number of condoms in her daughters purse.

Is this none of her mothers business since her daughter is 17 now?

Should her mother be checking her daughter's phone and purse at that age?

Shouldn't her daughter have some privacy now that she is an older teenager?
