What's the best way? Or is it even a good idea? I'm talking about nervous and shy to the extreme. Like... running away from me, then sending lots of texts, then saying she talks too much and just stops replying. Keeps saying she doesn't believe it when guys call her pretty and thinks everyone is just making fun of her (trust issues?).

This girl and I have been friends for about 1 year, we met in English class and I never really thought anything about her. Primarily because our relationship was built on teasing and banter, nothing much, and she teased my other friend too, so I didn't think anything of it. This year, we have 1 class together and she was very happy to see me, and she even became more "teasy" than last year. She would only touch me, hug me out of the blue, and poke me in the belly and the nose. Problem is, I told her who I liked and she stopped teasing me completely, became really shy to me, but was still very touchy. I did begin ton like her, and she said she felt the same. Thing is, she completely ignores me out of the blue and then the next day she would poke me and at least say "hi" to me. But she talks to my other friend and every time he asks her how we're doing he told me she says I never talk to her. My main reason is because it seems like she tries to make me jealous on purpose and it gets me upset.

I feel like I'm being strung along because of the games and purposely making me jealous.. or is this just a test to see if my feelings are genuine?
