We've been togethor for 2 years, arranging to live togethor next year. But communication has always been an issue.
We spoke last Monday. I wanted to speak to him on Tuesday and Wednesday but he was unable to. On Wednesday he said he felt his upset as his grandfather was I'll, and said he'll text me when he could. Turns out his grandad was fine, but it came round to Friday and he hadn't texted me, so I texted him. By this point I was annoyed at him, becuase he knows communication is very important to me, so when he called me I said I was busy, cos I was too annoyed to call him. I then have to admit, I had abit of a go at him on Saturday, but we didn't speak properly. Then on Sunday id calmed down abit and asked him what he was doing to make conversation. He replied 'studying' and later told me he couldn't talk for this week.
I just feel so bad rn. I really want this to work , and for me to move with him next year. I've told him communication is and issue but he kind of shrugs it off. I just feel like telling him I don't want to speak with him for months until it's time to make proper moving in plans , so that I don't have to deal with this bad communcation :(

I have been dating a man exclusively for about 2 months. We dated for a bit before but he turned out to have communication issues. I distanced myself from him and we stopped talking. He recently got back in contact with me and said he would improve his communication and he did for a few days. I’ve let that slide because I know he’s been busy. He has 3 jobs. Assistant principal, college professor and recently added something else to his plate.
Well, I try to stay in contact with him even though I know he’s been busy. I added him on snapchat recently via his phone number. I honestly thought he knew it was me. He ended up sending a message saying hello and I said hey back. At this point I had also texted him and he hadn’t responded back to me. He said he didn’t know who it was on Snapchat which confused me. He didn’t know it was me.

Yesterday I texted him at 2:30. He didn’t respond to me at all. So I messaged him on Snapchat hours later and he responded within 15 minutes asking who it was. That made me feel like he was intentionally ignoring my texts.
Am I wrong for being upset by that? He was responding to Snapchat but not responding to my texts. Does it sounds like he isn’t really interested? Why would he come back into my life then?

I have been in a relationship for 4 years. I truly love my boyfriend. We have been together through difficult times. I was there when he was basically homeless/jobless and facing a massive decision to leave the city. We long distanced for one year before I moved to his city. I was recently hospitalised and diagnosed with an a chronic illness. He’s supported me through this always.

The problem is we seem to be facing one issue after another. We argue a lot over communication. It’s not all misery - when it’s good it’s good & we spend amazing times together such as travelling it’s just that when it’s bad it’s bad.
About a month back I posted about a difficult situation where I became pregnant and we ended up choosing abortion & he hardly said or did anything to support me claiming he was confused. He walked out slammed the door in my face when I tried to ask him to talk to me about what he was feeling and didn’t come with me to the appointment for the abortion but following advice & some thinking I decided to work through it with him.

However, yet again there’s another issue that I’m having to face with him. His reckless past has come forward and is now affecting me. We need to move apartments but can’t because he has court judgements against his name. I appreciate he was young when this happened and he can’t turn back time but what has irritated me is he has the money but hasn’t paid the debt. I confronted him & he said he can’t pay it because we need the money to move (but we can’t move as hardly anywhere will accept us easily because of his credit issue). To top it off 3 weeks ago he bought a motorbike which is money that could have been used to resolve his issue and save us a lot of hassle.
It has put such a strain on me. I have already been dealing with a lot and suffer with stress and this is only causing more problems as he always depends on me to sort and resolve things.

Are continuous issues a sign it’s time to leave?
