There was this guy, we were friends and I was starting to like him, well one of my best friends found out that he in fact liked her, and said yes when he asked her out even though she did not like him, because she was lonely and wanted a boyfriend, and had three bad boyfriends this year and felt like she need it and deserved it more than I did because I never had a boyfriend so I don't know what I'm missing. I'm find that he dose not like me, it sucks yeah, and hurt my pride but I did not like him that much and I do bounce back from rejections from guys pretty quickly because it happens a lot. The thing that hurts is she is so big on girl code and how none of the girls in our friend group can go out with the guys she likes or has ever liked, or went out with even if she dose not like them, or we are out of the group. (Note we are not a super popular clique or group, but she treats us like the plastics from mean girls anyway) I put up with it because she is one of my oldest friends but this really hurt and the blatant hypocritical-ness of the whole thing pissed me off even more because it is a pet of mine. And I don't know what to do, when she said it, it really hurt, so I told her what she said made me feel like crap, then she just brushed it off like it was nothing and proceeded to tell all of out common friends how jealous and over dramatic I am, and why can't I be happy for her. She did not like the guy before he asked her out, if she did I would probably not be really bad because they would have an opportunity for them to both be happy, but she doesn't like him, and she dose not care that I do because somehow never having a boyfriend means that my feelings about this do not matter and she deserves a guy more than I do. I don't know what to do, should I stay friends because we have been friends for so long and a ego boost could be good for her, or end it because she did betray me?
