My boyfriend and I have been having serious problems. We’ve gone through a lot, and a lot of shite has happened. I’m horrible at communicating and it’s taken me a long time to realize this.. to accept this fact about me. My boyfriend is so in touch with his feelings—he has told me that he used to be able to “read my mind” and honestly he probably did... it was the only time I really talked. Then his dad died... they had a super complicated relationship and I knew I should have been strong for him but I wasn’t. I’m not it happened 6 months ago. We’ve continued to have problems. Then about a month (3 weeks?) he crossed a line. He said I invaded his space, but he came at me. His hand around my throat just for a second or less. I don’t remember I just remember the look in his eyes and I thought he could kill me if he wanted to. We’ve tried to work on it... work on our problems before but it always comes back to the choking and I ask myself can I trust him? I don’t think he will ever do it again... but I don’t know for certain. What if I get in his space again? His dad was emotionally abusive to him—what if he does something to our future kids.

I kind of broke up with him last night, but we stayed and talked and he was downright sarcastic and mean and I just let him say everything. He is my first boyfriend. He told me I was bailing, that I wasn’t trying to work anything out, that I was weak... that I was all these hurtful things. Then I don’t know what happened. We decided a decision could not be made until the next morning and then it’s come to tonight. I keep asking myself—what to do? I know it is my decision but I have no idea where to start.

I recently started working somewhere and there's 8 of us. 7 girls and 1 boy. The boy seems pretty cool, he's cute. He's younger than me though by 2 years so I wouldn't really go for him, but I just want to know. For starters, he's always outside when I'm on my break. I'm working a booth and he's the designated frier so he's not really required to stand there as the food fries and stuff but when I'm on break he likes to sit outside with me and chill but when my break is over he comes inside too. He also jokes around with me more than the other coworker but I'm not sure if that's because we usually stand closer to eachother or because he likes talking to me more. Whenever I'm on the shift that takes money and orders from the front, he leans out the window behind me so that he's just kind of there and we talk and stuff but maybe that's because it's too hot? One time there was a few wasps and he lett the frier and stood out in the front by me in case the wasps came back and made it a point while he was walking by to put one of his hands around my waist. However he's a cool dude so like I don't know of that was just me, though he never has to wall past many people cause he has his own station. When I was in my uniform and wearing a corset, he touched my back twice during out shift. Sometimes I catch him looking at me but when I look over instead of looking away, he smiles. I'm not sure, we've only worked together for two days so far. He's a cool person, super friendly so maybe he's trying to be my friend? But I also get vibes that he likes me. Why do you people think?
