Search Results: stares but does not speak

Ok, so there's this guy that I use to be super close with last year because when I broke up with my ex, he was there for me and he told me that he had always liked me but never told me because I was going out with my ex at that time. He had told me that he wanted to be my boyfriend and asked me out but I turned him down because I still wasn't over my ex. Now, this year he has a girlfriend but she goes to a different school. They seem really happy together according to what I saw on his Facebook page. Although, one day he had posted that him and her broke up, but his status still says he's taken by her. He acts strange around me because this year, he doesn't even speak to me anymore. When we past each other in the hallways, he just stares at me for a long time and he does the same when I see him at lunch. Some days he's just staring and on other days he's smiling while staring. I also think his homies been talking about me as well because I've noticed that they're starting to look at me a lot when I pass them. So, should I move on or could there will be hope?
