It's beach days, so everyone's out and about on the shore. Fat, thin, tall, short, young, old, whatever.

So the question is what we're defining as FAT in today's society. In many of the GAG questions about being fat, the person putting herself under the GAG microscope is actually NOT fat, but has a naturally curvy hourglass figure and is trying to be more like her twiggy friend whose hip bones must stick out above her thong bikini. So I'm asking, WHAT is FAT!? Please provide a specific description.

Guys with love handles in place of the surfer's six-pack. Are you thinking you're "FAT"? What's your body image/self esteem like?

Of course, there are people who are truly overweight to an unhealthy degree. But people seem obsessed with purging every ounce of fat off of themselves, telling themselves that they're fat when they're not, and that is EQUALLY unhealthy and can lead to massive medical issues down the line.
