Michelle Carter was charged over the 2014 death of 18-year-old Conrad Roy III who was found dead of carbon monoxide poisoning in his pickup truck. Conrad Roy was found near a compression pump that had filled the vehicle with carbon monoxide, in a Kmart parking lot. His death was deemed a suicide, but a US court decided Carter was to blame. She was found guilty of persuading her teenage boyfriend to kill himself with a string of text messages. She was charged with involuntary manslaughter. Her boyfriend had been depressed after his parents’ divorce. He had long thought of killing himself.

I would say women because of these reasons:
1. They don't have to go and die in wars.
2. They don't have to take hard labor jobs such as coalmining, construction, engineering, furniture delivery, etc.
3. When women get depressed and have problems, there'll always be people willing to help them while men are expected to just take it all in.
4. They can cry in public and no one will judge them for it.
5. Society always gives them the benefit of the doubt while men are automatically demonized over false accusations.
6. If they leave a relationship, they can find a new one in a week while for men, it takes months or years.
7. Women get over break ups faster (see point 6.)
8. A woman who is planning to commit suicide always has emotional support (see point 3.)
9 . It's easier for women to make friends.
10. If a woman wants a promotion or a job, all she has to do is spread her legs.
11. Women can use their looks to get ahead (see point 10.)
12. Women are already labeled as important since they produce babies while men have to prove our worth.
13. Women are not expected to be strong or wealthy like men are.
14. They can act like a total b**ch to everyone and society will call it "empowering".
15. She doesn't have to carry the weight of the world on her shoulders since men are ones who are expected to be leaders.

Wow, this was a pretty long list but these are just my thoughts. What do you guys think? Which gender do you think has it easier in life and why?
