Here's some backstory (I'm just going to call my BFF Blue and her cousin Red) So Blue and I have been friends for most of our lives and Red has always been apart of her life and I have questioned if I liked him before, but then decided no. Fast forward to a year ago Blue and I started getting really close and we are now BFF's. I ended up telling her that I HAD a crush on Red, but I didn't anymore and that was true... until I found out he liked me and all the feeling I had been trying to shove away were thrown to the surface. My BFF told me that he liked me and had been talking about how nervous he was around me to his mom. I recently told him on snap-chat that I like him and he told me he has liked me since August 2019! So I was freaking out AND of course Blue knows all of this we tell each other everything. I have been talking to him and he is really nice. I could possibly see myself dating him in the future when I'm old enough to date (18) but I don't want to do that to my BFF. She swears that it would be okay with her, but I know that if I theoretically dated Red and we didn't work out it that would put a strain on Blue and Red's relationship and I don't want to do that. So I guess I'm trying to get someone to confirm that I should NOT ever date Red because its not worth hurting my BFF in anyway.

A while back I met this guy who I now have a crush on. I met him through one of my friend's friends at a bar. That day we didn't really talk but he introduced himself to me after a while. The next day there was a party and I got very drunk, to the point of having blackouts. I remember talking to him and then later on sitting on his lap. At this point, I was so drunk the room was spinning. He held me and patted my back haha... He also borrowed me his shirt because I was cold.

I don't know how to approach him. I must have made a very bad impression at that party, pretty sure I said a lot of embarrassing shit. He is also 7 years older than me (I'm 20). I haven't seen him since this party, but there is a slight chance he knows I'm interested in him because I think one of my friends might have spread the word to his friends.

What do you think I should do?
