I don't know about you, but ever since I was a kid, I've always LOVED women in dresses.

There's not really much to say about them, but they basically are the epitome of femininity, they look sort of fancy, and they just overall look nice. I also like how they can be both formal and casual.

Short or long, whatever color they may be, whatever the body type of the wearer... they just look fantastic.

Any average looking woman can easily go up to like an 8, 9, or 10 by just putting on a nice dress and styling her hair a little, and maybe a little bit of light natural makeup if necessary.

If you don't know what I mean, it's comparable to men in suits.

Suits have an overall professional and distinguished look, and a nice tailored suit can make any average guy look way better.

I know women can't wear dresses all the time, and that I can't police what women wear, but in terms of aesthetics, I'd take dresses over jeans, trousers, shorts, or skirts any day.

Here are some men in suits, for comparison.

They all look as sophisticated and as manly as fuck. Much better than just a t-shirt and jeans, or a tank top and shorts. Better than casual button-downs too.

Dresses are basically like that, but the feminine version. Though some dresses can be more casual looking, while suits are almost always fancy... even casual dresses look fancier than pants, shorts, or skirts, though.

Like are most guys better off with short hair?

I feel like it's going out of style with the hipster trend being pretty much dead

I a am overly hairy guy which I obviously hate. I have tried shaving , waxing , removal creams , trimmer and epilator. Since the hair is pretty coarse and thick Its really really painful to wax/epilate especially the torso. Also I itch a lot for a couple of days after I shave , get ingrown hair after waxing. The short trimmed hair feels too stubbly. Damn. It's sort of curse. I have almost lost self esteem and confidence. Always feel hairy messy guy whom no girl would admire /want. If you were in my situation how would you do about this unwanted hairiness?

So more recently, though I've usually been trying to ignore it for most of my life, I've been displaying an interest in girls.

I've always liked girls... cute faces, soft skin, longer hair, cute giggles/laughs, softer voices than guys, etc... and more recently, I actually want a girl I can physically be with and have fun with, rather than just an image of my head, of me having a theoretical imaginary girlfriend.

And I was talking this through with my friends... a group of 5. And one of them said, "Well you're not getting a girlfriend with those short ass shorty shorts!" And just slapped my knee. Then the other 3 agreed and nodded. And from then, I just joked about it and took it cool, "What? You jealous you all don't have muscular legs like me, chicken legs?"

But it got me thinking...do most girls actually care?

In that scenario my friends were most likely just joking around, but do girls care?

Most of my shorts are the length as shown in the above photo, about 7 inch inseam.

Then for swimming trunks... those are only like 2 inch, but they're for swimming anyways. How else am I supposed to feel the warm sunlight and cool water on my skin?

The 7 inch inseam shorts are usually about a hand or two above my knee, and sometimes rise up to my lower thighs as I sit... but I never really cared.

But then again, I grew up with 3 slightly older sisters, and despite being older than me, since because I guess they were girls, they worse shorts like this.

So in comparison, I actually thought my shorts were really long. I even asked my parents for shorter shorts like theirs so I don't stick out so much, but they said boys don't wear shorts that short.

But in comparison to other guys... it seems like my shorts are ridiculously short, and I don't want to come off as a joke in front of girls I want to impress.
