Not always. Sometimes it really is sad. Other times I feel like laughing but can't in front of others.

Sometimes I pretend to be sad at a dramatic scene of a movie. However, if I do that then there is going to be a pissed off audience or I'll be seen as a weirdo.

Examples:
1) Finding Nemo,
When the big shark devoured the mother and only Nemo was alive, for some reason I wanted to throw myself on the floor and crack up. Instead for the sake of my friends, I ended up pretending to be sad and we talked about how heroic was the mother.

2) Carrie
I sure did found it funny when she got thrown that bucket of pig's blood. However, I couldn't laugh when I was watching it with friend. When I watched it alone for the 2nd time, I laughed during that scene.

That was my main diagnosis long ago when I was in 5th grade. I had scored high on the level at the time.

It's been controlled since. I'm aware once in a while, there are small lapses (though it has toned down a lot and it's very mild version by now) where I got urges to steal clothes from a store for instance or laugh at the movies during the middle of a dramatic scene. I don't do it though because I'm an adult by now, have self-control and there are consequences. When I was a lot younger, I would act out without caring.
