He would always linger when we're about to leave or try to stall me. There was one time he actually walked me down into my train station. And then the other when he tried to gather his things slowly but then sped up a lot quicker when he realise I was gonna leave. The other day he followed me down the stairs halfway through before saying/realising he had to head up as all his stuff (bag) was still there and he still had work to do.

He also seems eager to please me and would apologise for things that he doesn't have to. He would also keep praising me on my work and would emohasize just how great it was.

We were seated side by side the other day and when he had to navigate sth on my computer, his forearm rested on my thigh the entire time. It could be angle issue but he never made an attempt to slightly raise it to avoid touching me. When he was talking to me, he would look into my eyes and then stare at my lips - it got a bit intense so I had to look away for a bit as we were in a work setting.

Is this just physical attraction or beyond that?

We were both working at school together and when I had to consult him on something - he not only angled his chair to face me but leaned in and folded his arms and rested them on the back of mine while I talked. It felt really sweet and kind of intimate without being disrespectful. It was not the classic 'stretch and place arms on the back of her chair move' - this was rather adorable

I also asked if there were any food places nearby at that time and he said they are likely all closed (since it was a Sunday and places close really early where I'm at, around 6). He then said he's probably gonna fix sth at home and will leave when he's done w work and then said I probably should not stay on any longer after. I was like 'Wow is he being protective?' It was not like he gave it any thought - he just blurted it out.

I'm aware that he is attracted to me (he has flirted, is always smiley around me). But does that mean this is more than just physical attraction? Like he actually cares about me?
