We broke up earlier this year because he pushed me with our son is my arms. I called my sister to come get me and she did, unfortunately she called the cops and because he lives with his mother she was angry about that (it's such a long story) anyways he asked his mother if I could stay and she said no since cops were called. But he did beg me not to leave and tell my sister not to come. Moving forward once I moved back to my home state with our son we talked on the phone and I said I wanted to get back with him but he said no and during this time found a new girlfriend too 3 months after our breakup. So I'm wondering did I technically break up with him when I moved from his mother's house or did he break up with me?

My ex and I broke up earlier this year, I moved out of his house and left him. After our breakup we'd sleep on the phone together and talk for hours on the phone. Eventually we just stopped talking and he has a girlfriend. But I did try getting back with him a few times and texted him "I miss you" and most of the time he wouldn't reply or if I told him that he'd say how he didn't want to hear it and it was over between us.
