I asked out my long time friend and highschool crush out on a date, and at first things started good. She was hesitant to go out because of our friendship, but I was honest about how I felt, and we went out. The date went ok, but she was really rude afterwards, and then declined a second date. I was very upset about how she went about things, and I deleted and blocked her on everything. I did rush things but I thought it was necessary.
She texted me weeks later with a new number saying not to delete the new one.
I just recently messaged her, apologizing for pushing the issue and I thought us dating would be ok considering our past and friendship. And I was sorry, and wished she was interested in dating.

All I got in response was 'no problem' I haven't said anything. Is there anything else I can say to change things?
I wanted to send a message saying;
'Hey, I just need to get this off my chest. I liked you and maybe I was just too honest about things and too eager and rushed things. But we barely talked since we graduated and hung out twice in 4 years. So I don't quite understand why you gave me your updated phone number.
I just want to understand how you see things, and your view. If you don't want to that is fine.'

I wanna say;
Hey, I'm sorry to drag it out. But I was very honest about how I felt, and I probably shouldn't have done that. But we barely talked, and have only seen each other once in the last 4 years, besides the 'date'. I don't understand why you updated me with your new number. Especially if you aren't interested in dating. I really would like to understand more about why you feel the way you do. But if you don't want to say so. I understand. I just can't be your friend.
