Basically I have a friend I play video games online with, we've known each other for a few months now and we're good friends that play the same game commonly since we help each other get wins. We usually play with more people online since the bigger group the better. Recently he told me he couldn't play with me as much since his girlfriend doesn't like him playing video games with me even if our relation is very platonic and in the beginning it was shown that we have completely have different values having him be into sex and having a family with kids while I am asexual and don't like kids. He complied for a week or so and now we're back to normal but his girlfriend still told him he could not longer text me on Instagram. And today she messaged me on PlayStation questioning me and telling me not to tell her boyfriend anything... Currently I am agreeing to her terms and giving her a chance reassuring her I have no interest and am not a threat... But none the less I feel bad for not telling him about what happened but yet I don't want them to argue about this 😞

Like you were both into each other at one point, but eventually the attraction faded and now you really only like them as a friend. Even if you were never in an actual relationship with them, would it be weird to want to keep them as a friend after having such a flirtatious relationship with them for so long?

I know someone who refuses to say girlfriend. He always say oh she's my female friend or my lady friend. But to me, those all have different meanings. A girlfriend is someone you are in a relationship with. A female friend is a friend who is female, you may or may not be having sex with this person but most likely its platonic. A lady friend is a person you are having sex with and that is all. You aren't friends, you aren't dating. Am I the only one who thinks this? Are all three the same?
