My sister always used to say “a guy don’t wanna marry a girl more experienced than him”. I never thought much of it at the time, but now I’m starting to have seconds thoughts on that. I kinda do want a girl on my level of innocence. Especially if I’m looking to get serious.

I’m 30 and I’ve only had sex with 19 women in my entire life. So I want a girl who’s kinda the same. Not that it’s about a specific number, but I want someone on the same page. I’d rather an average looking girl who hasn’t been around, than a hot girl who’s been around. Am I wrong for that?

We all want the best for ourselves in everyway we can, yet we live in a world of obstacles to navigate, and because of those obstacles sometimes it's necessary be selective on what you want, and sacrifice that which you don't want as much. And because that's basically been life forever, we've developed instincts that suit what we're working with, hence one of the reasons why men and women are so different in their personality.

It's a pretty shit state all round.
-Women are pressured into the role of a submissive, supporting, nurturing, sex objects who aren't taken very seriously.
Yet they are loved and treated as royalty so long as they stay young, fertile and embrace their role.

-Whereas men are pressured into the role of dominate, stoic, responsible, leaders who's safety and wellbeing is not valued at all, and are taken so seriously that when they make a mistake or do a bad thing they're treated with maximum punishment relative to what women and children get.
Yet they are respected and treated like royalty so long as they clime to the top of the greasy male hierarchy poll and embrace their role.

So do you embrace or reject your roles, and if so why?
Because one pattern I'm starting to see is those in healthy loving relationships tend to embrace them, even if they've spent the last 10 years playing little miss inderpendant or mr peter pan. And those repeatedly rejected who can't maintain a relationship tend to bitterly reject them to protect themselves.

Me n my girlfriend have been together for 10 and never had sex. She says she’s waiting until we’re married. I’m still a virgin, she isn’t. So this doesn’t make sense to me. I know a relationship isn’t 100% about sex, but. The only reason a couple should never have sex is if there is health issues that get in the way, and we’re both healthy!

I’ll be honest, other than not having sex she is a good girlfriend. She comes over on her off days preps my meals for the week. Can’t remember the last my I fed myself. She’s been supportive through my rough times.

Regardless of how good she is I’m ready to just leave all that behind. I’m starting to regret my time wasted. She tells me “I can’t live without you”, but that doesn’t mean anything at this point.
