The catch is, even if they disagree with you on stuff, they're not trying to control you with their ideology and convert you. For example, would you be friends with a religious if you're not? Or if they are a gym rat but you eat a family size bag of chips for breakfast? Or maybe one of you is unV'd? Could you be friends with them and respectfully disagree?

Bishop Briggs, (singer) pictured below, started to shave her head once her friend had cancer. Briggs made a comment that it's interesting that people make such a big deal out of hair since it's something that will grow back for those that choose to shave their hair or something of that matter.

What is your interpretation of this saying? Do you agree or disagree

I had 2 other people that I was talking about a topic with. Person 1 was feeling upset about some stuff and wanted to talk, Person 2 and I asked him what's wrong. Basically Person 1 was thinking about past bullying that basically happned through thier entire childhood due to thier behavior. Person 1 is diagnosed with ADHD and Asperger's and felt bad for being bullied for stuff that wasn't his fault. He basically hot bullied for hyperactivity associated with ADHD, which led to him being annoying, and other behaviors that involved not fully understanding social rules that came with Asperger's. And I'm assuming that both of these combined led into him just beinf "weird" overall such as talking a lot or not paying attention in class, talking about "weird" things and just being annoying overall.
Person 2 basically told him "Well, you were responsible for your own repercussions (in this case, bullying) because at the end of the day, you are still responsible for your actions, disablilty or not"
This kind of led into a small debate between me and Person 2. My reasoning was basically that he shouldn't have been bullied for. Rather, people with things with ASD and ADHD or anything similar should work towards being understood and helped, not bullied.
Person 2 said that we can't be upset about the reactions he got growing up, because the actions were unacceptable whether he liked it or not. Person 2 said that the bullies are not at fault for reacting.
So I asked Person 2 is Person 1 deserved the bullying. Person 2 said he deserved it.
I disagreed and said people don't deserve bulkying for something that is for the most part, uncontrollable. Since he never asked to have either ADHD or Asperger's. Especailly if he (as a kid at least) try to improve and was unsuccessful in doing it. I understand if he needed improvement in these departments, but bullying wasn't required for that.

So basically GaG, please help me out a bit.
