I have been dating my boyfriend for about 2 years now. Around the 10 month mark of the relationship, I discovered that he hid something somewhat important to me about another girl because he didn't think it was important even though we saw her everyday. Following that, there have had been other issues of dishonesty and not being a good boyfriend like backing out of a plan we made the night before even though he didn't mind the whole week we planned it.

So, as one person does after he broke the camel's back, I told him that I am most likely going to break up with him or at least really considering it because he indirectly got smart with me when I asked if our photo album came in the mail. We texted for HOURS over the phone trying to discuss it and the whole time I'm mad because I am already mentally drained from the relationship.

The real thing it comes down to is if he's either willing to change for the sake of this relationship like being able to adapt/actually be with someone, or is he just keeping me around/being selfish. Last time we spoke this intensely was earlier this month and he promised to be more honest/open, yet all he was doing was continually giving me compliments for no reason every minute of the day. When I said that was too much, he used it against me saying it made him feel bad and will have a "hard time" being "open" again. He still gives me random compliments now as well even though he has never done that prior to that conversation really.

He does know that he is selfish sometimes since he stated it himself that I deserve better, but yet still promises change. I'm not sure what to do, what do you think?

My best friend is the owner of something for the first time; of a small pizza shop.
Yes it's under her name alright (for 2 years now), clients are coming and her earnings rose.

Meanwhile it's her property, the person behind the idea is her boyfriend. He's the one that instructed her from the beginning how to create a business (she started by opening a fb business page for small orders), a logo, a name, what items to buy, how to make a pizza, etc. Yet, he wants nothing in return but see her succeeding. She was heading no where in life on a dead-end job, with a worthless liberal studies BA degree and didn't know how to cook until age 25.

Her boyfriend already know all the process of running a business but is happy with his position as a manager. He can do what she does and didn't even study. He could've claimed his share since it was his idea and he helped with money too in the beginning but wants her to keep it for herself. So in your opinion who deserves the credit?

The owner who was guided by her boyfriend the whole process or the boyfriend who is was the mastermind behind the creation of her company?
