Lately I've been struggling with a lot. I just got out of a relationship, I got fired from my job, my grades are slipping, me and my parents have been fighting non stop, and that's just the beginning. So anyways... I was really upset the other night and I needed someone to talk to. I wanted to talk to someone who knows me and knows everything I've gone through in my life so I texted my ex. We dated a couple years ago for about 6 months but since then we haven't exactly stayed out of each other's lives. Our relationship has been kinda complicated since we've broken up and we somehow always gravitate back to each other in one way or another. Sometimes we are friends and get along and other times we just don't and we do nothing but fight. It honestly just depends. Last time we talked he had tried to win me back. He broke up with his girlfriend (he was dating Jackie Evancho from Americas got talent) to try and get me back. I told him not to break up with her for me and he swore to me that wasn't why he was doing it. So I told him I would consider it but I wasn't making any promises. He eventually got tired of waiting (it had been less than 2 weeks) and told me that he had been happy with Jackie and he had ended things with her to try and work things out with me and he never should have done that. I flipped out and told him that him breaking up with Jackie wasn't my fault and told him if he had been happy with her that he should just go back to her because I was done. We went our separate ways after that and he actually went as far as to block me on Instagram. Regardless of how things had ended the last time we talk I had hoped he would be willing to talk to me and help me and be there for me because no matter how much we've fought in the past we've always been there for each other when we really needed it. When I text him though he wasn't exactly happy to hear from me. Was I wrong to text him? Should we just completely stay out of each other's lives?
