We knew eachother in high school but never talked outside of class. 7 weeks ago we moved into our dorms and started freshman year of college, and we live right next to each other. We have been hanging out ever since, early on 20+ hours a week but the last couple weeks 5+ hours a week. We go to the gym, we would eat together, hang out in our dorms, go to football games, etc. Just last week she got lunch and dinner with me in the same day. She was very forward the first 4 weeks, and dropped hints she was interested. She initiated about everything. Well, I am an idiot and acted a bit timid and never really showed interest back. I do really like her now, but the past few weeks the mood has changed. It seems like she just sees me as a friend now. I'll initiate, and she'll be busy, but then she will initiate a couple days later (I usually make myself available). I feel like she is slowly becoming more distant, and giving her too much attention early on and not making a move was bad. We used to be workout buddies but lately she has actually started going to the gym with another guy! So I don't know what to do, the spark has died becuase I didn't make my move and seems like she moved on. By the way, we have a good friendship still. Like I said just a week ago we had lunch and then dinner together in the same day. Should I just stop giving her my attention and kind of move on (see where it goes), or should I make my move right now and tell her straight up how I feel.

We were acquintances in high school, then less then two months ago we started as freshmen at the same university. Our dorms are very close, so we hung out the first couple days initiated by her. Well from there it continued, and we saw each other 3-5 days a week. Here is the problem. 4-5 weeks ago I felt some tension, and she dropped some hints she was interested in me romantically. I was kind of shocked this beautiful and smart girl, who many guys hit on, was being so forward with me, and I never really made a move to show signs I was interested too. Well now that we have been hanging out for almost 2 months, I really like her. Right now we are just good friends, and that spark that was there 4-5 weeks ago has died. We still laugh and have a good time, but there isn't really that tension anymore. We are workout buddies, but lately she has been working out with another guy who keeps inviting her (we are both busy and its hard for us to find time to go to the gym together lately). I am honestly kind of upset about this, and I worry she might end up liking this guy. I have been stalling for 2 months and I might be too late, but I feel like I should say something. She isn't really being "distant," it's just her attitude seems different. The spark has died, sweet spot is passed. So if I essentially "friendzoned" her, and she moved on from her feelings (whatever feelings, if she had them) and now labels me as just a friend, is it too late to do something about it? Would it be appropriate to tell her how I feel now, or is it likely she will friendzone me, or even become distant. We saw eachother just last night and when we parted I felt sick to my stomach, because another day passed where I didn't tell her how I felt.

By the way, I am 18 not 28!!

In my situation, we went to high school together and were acquintances. Then we went to the same college, moved in 7 weeks ago, and since then have been hanging out a lot. She dropped some hints she was interested early on but I didn't do anything about it, so she probably just flipped and sees me as a friend now. So I kind of blew it, but I really like her. Could I just tell her straight up? By the way I'm 18 not 28.

Here is my story. I went to high school with a girl who I talked to every once in a while in class. I always thought she was beautiful, smart, and super charismatic but I never had a crush on her or anything. Well then we both go to the same university. The first day we move in, she is very persistent and asks me to hang out 3 days in a row, which we do. Now for the past weeks we have been hanging out 3-5 days a week and go to the gym together. I didn't allow myself to develop feelings at first because she is the type of girl just looking to have a good time freshmem year. Plus tons of guys hit on her. Well, the more I got to know her the more I fell for her. At this point, I really like her. Problem is I missed several oppurtunities to make a move. When we where first hanging out, she actually dropped strong hints she liked me, but I was timid those first few weeks because I didn't know. Now I am in a tough situation, where she has no idea how I feel and it would be weird for me to just start putting my arm around her, since we are good friends now. I am torturing myself keeping this in. A couple days ago when we were at a party a guy kept talking to her, and when they played pong he tried putting his arm around her a few times, and kept asking when she needed to be walked home (I walked her home). The next morning we where with the same group and she kept talking to him and approaching him, even played with his hat. It's my fault I am in this situation, but I was getting super jealous. I know rejection would suck, but it's so much better than this. I could get over it and we could still be good friends. Should I tell her I like her or keep trying to show her (which I suck at)? She even calls me buddy now.

We hang out 15+ hours a week (only one day this week), and have gotten verycomfortable around each other. Usually she initiates, and she dropped signs she was interested a few weeks ago but I never made a move because I am kind of timid when it comes to that stuff. But I know I really like her and would be devastated if she moved on and found someone else (and I never told her how I felt). So could I just casually bring it up, "Hey we hang out a lot and I really enjoy being around you. Could you ever see us dating?"

First off, I am 18 not 28. Second off, I have known this girl for years. We only talked in class in high school, and towards the end of the year started talking more and more. Then we started college a month ago and moved in right next to each other, and she kept initiating hanging out. Now it goes both ways and we see eachother 3-5 times a week, and I can tell she is very comfortable around me (we hang out in each others dorms for hours sometimes). Anyway, this girl is beautiful, smart, and sweet and tons of guys chase her. At first I wasn't even gonna try to get past friends but I have fallen for her. I think I am going to tell her next time we hang out that I like her. Problem is I'm awkard af when it comes to this stuff. Would it be dumb if I said something like this:

"So I heard someone give good advice a few days ago, sh*t or get off the pot. And I was like wow, there are a few pots I am just sitting on right now. So I decided this week I am just going to sh*t on all my pots. One of them involves you. *Grab hand* [name], I really love being around you and I am starting to like you a lot."

Should I just leave the whole toilet part out? Is that not the time to be humerous? What do you guys think?

PS: Last time we hung out was Friday and she seems a little distant since then. She was gone all weekend but still, she never replied to my last text and that was 5 hours ago. Hopefully she didn't hook up with some guy as I am typing this.

If you have ever seen the show Dexter, I have a personality like Dexter (minus the phsycopath part). So I am awkward when it comes to making moves, and I never really dated in high school. This girl is really popular, successful, and beautiful. Lot's of guys chase her actually, so when we were first hanging out I just saw her as a friend. Plus it was weird to think about a relationship at first because I have known her for years (but we never hung out until now). But I am falling hard for her. I have started to tease her, touch her on the shoulder/arm more, sit close to her, lean in when I talk, etc. It's been a month already and I might have locked myself in the friendzone because of my lack of action. So at this point, should I keep dropping hints or should I just tell her straight up how I feel?
