I want to know if this is true:

"Here’s the deal, for us ugly men it’s perfectly okay that we are not running around acting like some extroverted alpha males because that doesn’t go with the woman’s frame of reality, and quite frankly it most likely doesn’t go with our reality either unless we’re of some sort of importance.

It’s actually best for us ugly men to seem nervous, or shy, or act like the girl is way out of our league. Acting cool is a bad idea.

When these girls see an ugly guy, they’re going to already have an idea in their heads of how that guy would act, and acting outside of that frame is only going to shatter her reality and overwhelm her, so if we’re shy, and can’t help but act shy, then THAT’S A GOOD THING because it’s congruent with what she’s expecting, so no alarms go off or anything.

We stay congruent to her frame. In her frame when she see’s us ugly men she’s expecting us to be shy, insecure, she thinks she would be a dream come true for us, she thinks we could never attract a girl as hot as her, heck, she thinks we could never attract a girl PERIOD."

Just your personal opinion, from experiences, or stories that you have been told from friends or family. This question is for both genders.

I'm a really good looking guy, and I've never had a problem getting girls. I'm not picky at all when choosing women, but I've found certain types of girls are very attracted to me (usually girls that aren't the best looking), and maybe it's the way I act I'm not sure, but I was thinking it could be because I am really good looking. Attractive girls never seem as interested in me and I could never figure out why.

Since the beginning of high school (I'm 22) I've had close to 15 girls express interest in dating me, some of them asked me out, others gave subtle signs, etc. I've noticed a common trend with all of them though, none of them were considered "hot". Of course the majority weren't ugly, they were all just very average looking. I went out with a few of them, but none of them were pretty girls. I almost never had people say "wow your girlfriend is so beautiful"... I, on the other hand, got compliments a lot for how good I look.

I had tons of girls interested in me, but they were all so average looking. I don't think I've ever had a really good looking girl try to date me, usually I have to go to them but even then I usually get shutdown. It just seems like I get a ton of average looking girls, and not many good looking girls, so that got me wondering this question. Is this common, for very attractive guys to get a bunch of average looking girls?
