I come from a broken home. I had no father or mom with me.

I saw my father for the first time in 2016 since 1998 last time I saw him and hardly ever spoke to him on the phone.

And prior to that I didn't see him since age 4 which I don't remember him at all.

I did see my mom like once or twice a week when she came over to my grandma house, but I really never lived with her.

My grandma couldn't really raise me because she was so busy working her butt off to pay bills and put food on the table.

I love My grandma to death, but I feel she kinda ruined me with her fear and paranoia.

She was always worried, scared and talking about crime, plane crashes, cops, and kidnaps etc.

I think that kinda had a horrible effect on me growing up being around only by women and their emotions and worldly views.

Men in general don't speak or act that way around their sons.

And to be honest being raised with my father would have been worse.

I don't even consider him a man.

If I would have had him in my life I probably would have died of aids long ago with me being reckless sexually with women and having bastard kids all over place.

If you're a man raised by a single mom what effect did it had on you wheather positive, negative or both.
