So my parents are pretty protective. They ask me to text them when I get to places, let them know exactly where I'll be and who I'm with. I went out a few nights ago with some friends to a club and they let me go but my friends are going out again tonight and will be drinking so a few guy friends said that the girls and guys (we're all friends. Three girls, two guys) cod crash at their small frat house on the couch. It's summer so there would be only like 3 other guys at the house. My parents arnt allowing me to stay the night. He says as long as your in my care you won't be staying at someones house with guys, eveb though we would be in different rooms. My dad keeps saying how girls are gang rapped all the time.. though most girls who are were passed out drunk. And I told my dad that I would not be drinking at all, thus that shouldn't happen. Plus I trust the guys. Some of the most caring nice guys I've met. Anyway, do you think they are being unfair? I'm almost 20 years old but I do live at home so I feel like I need to follow their rules but then again I'm almost 20!! I am very mature for my ago and they say they trust me, I don't lie to them where I'm going or what I'm doing. I don't know I just feel suffocated at home because I feel like I can't do stuff with my friends. Or that if I want to hang with them, I don't know if my dad would allow it thus I feel suffocated in that I can't make my own decisions. You know? What do y'all think? When I went out the other night he didn't want me to go but said you're an adult so I can't say you can't go but then when I told him about this he said he won't allow it. ? Um what. Ran into a friend at a club. At one point we liked each other kinda dated I still kinda like him but nothing ever happened. I waved goodbye cause he was dancing with some girls and didn't want to interupt. After I left the club he texted me "have a good night Hun. Text me when you get home?" Is this protective, friendly, or interested? by the way all the times I've ever hung out with him before he never once told me to text him when I get home.
