I was dating this guy, but ended things because he didn't know what he wanted. Now, I realized that I still like him very much and still want to be with him, despite his faults. Anyhow, I found out through mutual friends that he is seeing someone. It's not serious afaik, and apparently she is moving too fast for him - she's treating it like a long-term relationship. But he's just going to treat it as something meaningless to him (as told by mutual). I also found out that he did regret losing me, but didn't understand why I ended things. We were together for almost a year, and after I ended things, he got with her soon after, and a lot of people were surprised by that. He also met her on Tinder, so it wasn't like he knew her before. Anyhow, I contacted him recently, just to catch up. Not once did he mention the other girl he was seeing (bad or good sign?). Secondly, he hasn't initiated any texts with me (mostly bad), but responded to all of the texts I sent him. He also hasn't declined any requests to meet up, but he's kind of flakey for example, "I'm pretty busy this weekend, but I might be free blah blah" Our relationship didn't end on bad terms either. But I'm afraid he didn't take this break as serious as I did, and just found another rebound to shut his emotions away. We have plans to meet up soon, but I don't plan on bringing the other girl up at all. Also, it's weird because the girl and I have the same first name.. (like what). And if we do meet, I am going to just play it cool, not going to bring up any relationship stuff or anything serious like that.

TL;DR: Guy I dumped got a rebound girlfriend, can I steal him back?

Anyhow, I miss him, and cherish what we had, so is it possible to start over with him even though he's seeing someone else? Or should I just leave him be with this new girl?

There is this guy I met at uni, he's a friend of friends and we take dance classes together. Actually I don't know him much but I really felt like I liked him the moment he walk in. We have get along well and have nice talks, and I was kinda making plans and looking for hints that he might be interested in me too. Up to the point that I somehow convinced myself that he was.
But funny thing, we became fb friends lately and oh surprise he has a girlfriend. And I feel so down.

Before that I was thinking of telling him that I liked him (I'm the type of girl that like to do the first step ahah). But now I don't know anymore. I mean obviously he's going to reject me. But I feel like I really need him to know it. Just in case you know... I'm not so much afraid of loosing him as friend, because I like him as a man and not a friend.
But I'm not sure if I should do it, by respect for his girlfriend and their couple. I'm mean, I'm also afraid of the scenario where (I know I'm dreaming, BUT) he breaks up with her because of me, but whatever happens after that he still loves her and I am the one who ruined everything.

Help me guys I need your advices. Have you confessed to so who was already dating so else before?
What happened? Did you regret it?
Should I open my heart no matter what and confess, or shut it up and try to moove on?

It can go wither of 2 ways, he can literally set me up with him or be like no way, and get super protective my brother is overprotective and might be like I'm not letting u date him and give me reasons not to date him. My brother and I are really close, i share everything with him from every guy I've ever liked but now the only difference is he's actually friends w this guy and can help me and i rlllllly want to tell him but I'm so afraid I'm going to regret it and he's actually going to prevent us from dating.

I mean people at that age mostly are married and having children. This girl I know is almost 27 and she is still single. She only had one boyfriend in her life and only dated for three months. I mean she's talked to other guys but it don't work out. Anyways she has been saying for five years now that she loves being single. Look she's pushing 30 and she really needa to start dating again and not regret not dating and having children if she wants to have them. Peoole shouldn't be afraid of commitment and I don't know why some people are. This girl I think she's afraid of commitment. She gets scared when a guy likes her and she pushes them away. That could have been her future husband. Everyone deserves love. She needs to start falling in love again and take a risk.
Everyone is going to get hurt. It's part of life. What do I go?
