So you know of women and men that met their partners as young as 13 and get married or people that are high school sweethearts. I wonder how people make friends to begin with, better yet romantic partners. I’m 25 and I’m not ugly. I try to eat decent, work out occasionally and stay groomed. I don’t ever get asked out or pursued by guys. By the rare occasions I have, I was asked out or complimented by unattractive guys. In HS and middle school I was teased and bullied. I had a little bit of friends and acquaintances mostly in HS. I don’t know why dating has never presented itself to me like everyone else. Who is the issue here, the men or me?

So I have a really complicated situation. A guy I like sat across from me once after a few minutes he tapped me on my arm and when I looked at him he waved. He sits by me quite often and once he sat across from the table and when I looked at him he waved. He also always offers me a ride and will say “are you sure” if I say no. some. He’ll tease me and say “sorry I’m being sassy” however he won’t ask me out: why?

He seemed super interested on Monday. Patted me on my back. Accidentally touching when handing him stuff my hands and apologizing? But today and yesterday he wasn’t really flirty. What gives?
