This girl I really like has told me that she does not want to be anything more than friends. I told her that it is ok and that I'm happy to have her somewhere in my life (I have no relationship experience and only have experience with girls who dont want to be friends anymore after I have feelings towards them). Anyways, there has not been a good time this summer to get together. I suggested getting together with her and some of our mutual friends, and timing has not worked out for that to work. We have had very friendly and pleasant messaging exchanges, which keep verifying my overwhelming positive feelings toward her. Anyways, if we do end up getting together, if I end up sitting next to her somewhere, would it be ok to just lean over, rest my head on her shoulder and put an arm around her, or would that be too much? She is a really chill and sweet person.
