This is just examples on scenarios where you tells a white lie to avoid hurting a person's feeling. But is it better to tell a white lie or is it better telling the harsh truth?

I am a racially Mestizo Mexican-American and I reject umbrella terms like "Latino" and "Hispanic" because I feel that the name "Latino/Hispanic" cancels out my Non-White European ancestry (American Indian/Indigenous blood) since the word "Latino" was originally meant for only Latin Language-speaking Europeans like Spaniards, Portuguese Italians, and French while "Hispanic" originated from the Roman term "Hispania" which is meant for Iberian Peninsula only (Spain and Portugal).

I also reject being called "Latino/Hispanic" because I feel that I have very little in common with the vast majority of other Latin American countries such as Argentina because it's a predominantly racially and culturally White country with a very heavy Italian Influence and the term "Latino/Hispanic" lumps me into the same group as them. The only thing we have in common is the Spanish language and even they sound different because of accent and dialect differences.

Also, this whole "tight-knit" Latino culture (standing up for your fellow "Latino people") is all a myth/lie. Most Latin Americans either hate other Latin Americans or think they're better than the rest of Latin America. Argentina is a perfect example because they have a reputation of being a snobbish/douchebag-ish country (no offense to Argentinians) that thinks they're better than everyone (rest of Latin America) because of how racially white their race population is (which is supposedly even whiter than the US and Canada).
