I'm 17. my mum has anger management problems so she's angry over the SLIGHTEST things. once i was busy using my phone (and when you are focussed you obviously can't hear your surroundings) so she called me and i didn't answer. then she said I'm a rude person who ignores her and got super angry, slamming cabinets and doors and screaming. I'm only 17 and I've been dealing with this since forever. i really don't think it's a good environment for me because whenever this happens, i feel so lonely and scared and sad and i start missing my ex WHO CHEATED because he used to be here for me whenever stuff like this happened. i want to stop feeling this way. also, my dad doesn't spend much time with her because he obviously doesn't like spending time with her and they fight over this a lot. it's obvious my mum has needs and my dad refuses to meet them, so they should obviously part ways? but they dont. so if i can, i really want to move out. does it make me an unfilial child? i just really feel like i want to live in a better environment but people might be like "come on its just fightings, it doesn't kill you".

In anger, I informed my father an issue we were having and the consequences for my stupidity is him blocking my ex boyfriend on his fb till further notice. I'm already 30 years old but he still expects the guy to treat me like a princess, any little stupid move or mistake and he's screwed.

My mother is ok with us still being in contact though and advice me to never mention any minor relationship issues to my father unless I'm 100% it's going to be a permanent break-up. All he'll do is immediately take my side all the time and hate the guy, even if we reconcile afterwards. Similarly, if my mother ever told her mother (my grandmother) her problems with my father and everything he did... her mother would literally hate my father by now so she keeps her mouth shut.
