My crush likes to sit near me at church. When he sits behind me he normally leans in when I lean back and sits diagonally never behind me. First meeting him he left and gave an awkward high five. When I was at his house one day his mom kept talking about him that night. There were other people listening to her but she looked dead at me she has two other sons that she didn't mention the whole night. We locked eye contact when he was getting water inside for like three seconds. He likes to look down when he walks near me. One day his friends werent there first so he sat behind me a few seats diagonally.4th July came and I was behind a table talking to agirl and him and his friends kept looking over at me while he was facing me infront of the table. I was hanging with some girls at the church event while the fireworks were going off and he just randomly walked in front of us by himself. I felt like he wanted to know where I was and he went back around to his friends. Wednesday at service i sat two rows behind him and his friend. He clearly turned around to look at me. Him and his friend left and then came back his friend had to skooch between people to get to their original seat and my crush instead of going back to his seat stood in the aisle between us and stood infront of me during the service his friend looked at him and he just smiled and shrugged. Friday at service he sat behind me today and clapped loudly and offbeat on purpose. our pastor said to greet three people around us and he's like"hi Kimberly how are you" which I only told him my name once so I'm surprised he remembered. He was "fixing" his shoe but looked at me ignoring his shoe. We had to sit in the center and we moved so his friend sat two seats down from me and then my crush and he signaled his friend to keep moving down and he wouldnt. he kept leaning forward. During the service he kept clapping as a joke because everyoneelse would join in and talked a bit loud to his friends. what do you think?

My friend recently introduced me to a guy at her church. He seems really lovely, kind, and easy going.
The first time we met, I saw him looking at me from afar, then he came and shook my hand, as my friend introduced us.
Then the next time I came to the church, my friend wasn't able to go, so went with my sister and brother inlaw instead. After church, he came right up to us after the service finished, and we spoke briefly, then he ended up talking to my brother inlaw for about half an hour.
I wasn't able to go last week, and I am aware that he went on two camps for kids inbetween now and then.
We ended up going just this past Sunday night again (my sister etc). I noticed the guy was there, but he was sitting next to some girl. Then after the service, he didn't come up to talk this time. He was talking with his friends, and the girl he was sitting with was still standing next to him, the whole time.
I felt kind of gutted over it, and like a bit of a loser, I felt disappointed.
My brother in-law went and joined the conversation, so I kind of had to follow him, as I didn't know anyone at the church.
Then my sister joined too, and started talking to the girl. Soon, my sister introduced me to the girl, and we spoke briefly, Then they kind of carried on their conversation. After that, the guy and I started to talk for a little while.
Then the girl interrupted our conversation, and said to him "I'm going to go and get my bag, do you want me to get your jacket?" And he agreed to this.
Then we all left after that. I turned to wave, and say bye to them both, he was friendly and waved, but she wasn't very friendly, and avoided eye contact with me.
I feel upset, I know I clearly don't know him very well. But he seemed interested to begin with. And nice normal guys in my general age group are becoming really rare. I really liked him.
I'm not competitive at all by nature. Should I compete and fight for him? (Which is what I usually do) or just give up?

we were friends since i was in high school. he had a girlfriend. he started being close to me.. than the girlfriend cheated and a whole bunch of other things so they broke up. he started asking me out since i was 12. I never wanted to date him cause he flirts around with girls a lot. And, if i became his girlfriend i would have been just one on the list. well, that's how i felt like. my dad is a pastor and my whole family is really integrated in the church. so my parents know him, and he knows them.
he used to come to my house sometimes ect... when he finished high school, he moved to the capital for University, and he'll barely talk to me or text me and when he comes back he'll tell me that i'm not close to him anymore. well, i'm not gonna be available for people only when they need me so.. bt once in a while he'll still talk to me and ask me to be his girlfriend...
when i finished high school, my family and I moved to another continent. we'll talk on fb but not for long, and then we didn't talk for like a year. no hi no nothing...

then he wrote me one day... and i was like i thought you died.. lol we always joke around... then he asked me if i had a boyfriend.. i said no cause i didn't... but told him i actually like a guy and all... so i asked him wassup with him? he told me that he got dumped.. the girl was moving to US (the story sounds like she was getting rid of him since she's going abroad) anyways... so he was like the two girls he's in love with don; want him. and i was like, you could have just forgiven the first one.. and he was like: you know i'm not talking about her.. and again this talk started again, me not wanting to be his girlfriend ect...

this year i got a better phone finally.. lol so we've been chating almost everyday for like a few months then we fought over something and he stopped texting...

when i ask him why he likes/loves me? He doesn't even know. he'll just tell me u r special blabla
it feels like a big lie to me...

I am Brazilian, live in England and go to a Portuguese church because I decided to do confirmation class there to practice my Portuguese more. But let's rewind to three years back. I was 10 and during church, I spotted this really cute Portuguese boy. I found him attractive and still do this day. I started confirmation classes in September and was planning on how to approach him to start a conversation, but since everyone already had their group of friends from the past year when they were doing their Holy Communion, I was left out and he was surrounded by his friends. so I thought "Damn, its going to be really hard to catch his eye!" So i set myself a goal: be close friends with him by February . My friends all said " February ? It's September! Stop being so easy on yourself! Why not Christmas instead?" But they didn't know how good looking this boy really was to me.
So in the middle of December, I got a chance. So i went ahead ahead "So, what did you do this weekend" then he just stared at me for a few seconds and ten said "oh, nothing really" then he just went silent. Let me just say thank God that was the time my teacher arrived!
After that, I gave up. I just said to myself that he's out of my league and he just doesn't feel the same about me, I'm still attracted to him but I just gave up trying. Strangely, last Sunday there was one seat left which was the one next to him and he seemed happy to see me, that was a strange first sign. I ignored that and as we have to hold hands for the prayer in the beginning and end of the session, he held my hand pretty tightly, but not too much. But when he went to hold the hand of the guy on his side, he high-fived his hand really hardly and he was about to do that to mine but slowed down right before he touched me. After church, I go to the parking lot with my sister and my friend to use our penny boards. But this time, after 10 minutes he came and teased me, making jokes and trying to make me laugh.
