Search Results: have a girlfriend but like someone else

This girl (20) would drive 2 hours to see me (25) every weekend for 2 months, so she really liked me. It was always a really good time. We bonded right away and went on really fun/sexy adventures (stripping her naked and eating her ass on the beach) and a few dates. But I didn’t treat her like a girlfriend. I never called her, asked if she got home safe, snapchatted her, sent good morning texts, no relationship talk, but we texted everyday. It now feels like I was leading her on, even though she drove 2 hours to see me. Playing her was never my intention because I liked her too.

She recently started playing games so I called her out, she got mad, a brief argument happened, a few days later I kinda tried to make up for it, shortly later I was ghosted after saying “if you’re down to keep things going then so am I. You gotta admit it’s always a good time.

It’s been two weeks since the argument and a week since she ghosted me. Should I send her “I get it. There’s a lot of things I wish I did but it’s in the past. Our shenanigans were wild. Hopefully you find someone who isn’t two hours away”

If not, what else should I say?

Don't really know whether it is that 'underdog' situation, where your family/parents have not set you up well to begin with (if such a thing exists) - or whether it is the 'mismanagement of the village' but, as someone who is a high contributor to the general wellbeing (with all I have/can get and muster), I find it puzzling how little, if any, relationship reward this gets me.

We are not talking about me wanting 17 castles, 50 supercars and a different supermodel girlfriend each day or week - simple appreciation sufficient to find someone I'd be happy with, for a genuinely affectionate relationship, would do. Yet it seems to find meaningless sex, or to pursue having two girlfriends, or some other form of extreme behaviour, is expected of me (I say it as someone who is easily a 10 given some motivation to be so - both in intellect, applied, and in athletics/aesthetics). And I keep bumping into crooks, in terms of societal value, leeches, who do far far better than me (at least on the surface, the rewards they get from 'the village' are far far greater, their contribution blatantly subzero - takers, not givers).

What is it in people that makes them appease those who are against them and disregard those who are helping them?
