OK, so I have a female friend who is leaving for a holiday overseas for a couple of weeks. Now, we do flirt with each other but I'm not sure if it is genuine because it started as a joke when she was dating someone else (they're not together anymore so it's OK now). So we've been getting to know each other better and talking more and more although we're not dating yet and we're not "a thing" (yet :p). When she left for her trip, she hugged me and kissed me on the cheek.. Can I take the kiss as a definitive sign that she likes me or is this something that girls can do to "just friends"? (for the record, I know a hug doesn't mean anything! It's the kiss I'm asking about). Please vote! I need opinions!

I have a female friend who I flirt with often to which she reciprocates, although, that flirting started as a joke. I've been seeing a girl for 2 months. she's a single mother and works full time. When i first started talking to her i found she was being evasive when i mentioned meeting up. She said that she's always busy and struggles to find a baby sitter. She did invite me over to her house to watch a movie and have food. We were sitting on the couch and she flung her legs across my legs and asked me to give her a massage. We ended up falling asleep

Next time i went around, we had a bit of a cuddle, held each others hands and flirted. She mentioned about why she's been single for so long, because she's had bad relationships in the past and doesn't let guys get close. She also started talking about sexual things like guessing the size of my penis and describing her vagina to me. As i left i gave her a hug and kiss on the lips

After this, she got ill and spent almost 2 wks in hospital. I visited her and met her parents. She thanked me for visiting
Since she came out of hospital she hasn't been as responsive to messages and takes longer to reply. I saw her walking past where i work with a guy. She stopped and waved but it got me thinking about who he was. I went to hers that night, she told me he was a friend. She seemed distant but she was very tired. I tried to put my arms around her when we were on the couch but she said "how close do you want to get?". I backed away. She started to fall asleep so i decided to leave. When i left i hugged and kissed her again. But i wanted to kiss her for a second time on the lips. She offered her cheek instead saying "the cheek is more romantic"

She has casually referred to herself as my girlfriend and to me as her boyfriend in the past.
I sent her a message asking where we stand and she replied with "i can't remember saying about being your girlfriend and you being my boyfriend. Im, not after anything at the moment. Im sorry if you got the wrong idea"
Is this the end? Or is it just a case of seeing how things go without taking it too serious?
