Search Results: subject for conversations

I mean I don't know I tend to talk about all kinda shit, if the subject ever comes around, pls don't go thinking that I wanna run in their arms or something. Look I mean, hello I'm talking to you about it, I've grown past them and chose you that's why I wanna feel comfortable having any kind of random conversation with you.

I know this'll create debates, but I'm generally interested in the consensus. Keep it civil, please.

This is going to sound clingy so here is some context:
I love my girlfriend and she does love me back when we see each other in person (she's actually awesome). We've been going out for almost a year now and the fact that we rarely ever see each other in person is seriously starting to take a toll on me. Although I didn't mind at first it's gotten to the point where I don't feel like I'm even apart of her life or she's apart of mine.

I see my Girlfriend about once every two to three weeks and sometimes once a month and when we do it's only ever for about 3-4 and a half hours. We text each other on facebook but it's quite painful trying to hold a conversation with her over text.
You see she doesn't see text as a "conversation" but rather "email," therefore we will literally be scheduling our next date and she'll disappear without any warning for an hour only to tell me that she went to cook dinner. Video chats are much better but we rarely find time to chat.

Part of what bothers me the most is the fact that even when I do see her its always for such little time and how relaxed she is about it, it doesn't bother her as much as it bothers me and she's barely done anything about it.

I've tried many things trying to solve this problem including:
- Talking to her about it
- Trying to set up a weekly meet up date
- Analysing our schedules
- Trying to get her to care more about the subject
- Trying to free up some time in my life and seeing if she could free up some time her hers
- Seeing if simply forgetting about her until the next time I see her would help with barely seeing her
- Not contacting her for about 5 days to see if she missed me to the point where she would make a big effort to try and see me. (didn't work, she never messaged me in that time spam O_o)

None of these have worked. It's painful loving someone who you never get to see and it's worse never spending any reasonable amount of time with that person. Any suggestions as to what I should do?
