There's this guy in my school that I like(I'll call him James). He is my ex boyfriend's friend, and my ex(I'll call him Peter) and I never talked to each other for a while. I started liking this guy after Peter and I broke up (we dated for less than a month) and it's 5 months later.

but, throughout the 5 months, whenever James and I passed each other in the hall we always make eye contact. A lot of times I would catch him looking out of the corner of my eye. He has never had a girlfriend, and is the shy type, so I figured that he never said anything to me because he was shy. I don't think he hates me, because he wouldn't look my way if he did, right?

I'm really shy around people I like, so l have only talked to him a few times when l have gotten the nerve to. But, lately, Peter and I have been talking and I told him that I thought James was hot. He said he wouldn't say anything to him, but lately, it seems like James is going out of his way to see me. Like, in the morning before class starts, and where all the buses drop the kids off, I usually stand there talking with friends, and he has been in the same general spot where my friends usually are. He doesn't talk to anyone there, and I could be imagining it, but after 5 months of observing, he doesn't have a lot of close friends, and never talks to girls(I know he's not gay) and so I know who he could possibly be waiting for and they always come earlier than him.

It's hard to understand, because of the unusual circumstances. But, do you think he likes me?
