Jerry is 20 years old. When he was 11, he was bullied by a girl in his class named Maria for smelling bad. Maria would throw soap, diapers, and lotion at him then tell jokes about how bad he smelled. When Maria noticed that Jerry had to pee, she laughed and said oh, does someone need to go potty? You should wear a fucking diaper then laughed. She also told everyone that Jerry had the lowest test grades in the class. When Jerry was 20, he met Maria (her boyfriend died in a car accident) and her daughter who's 3. Jerry decided to date Maria. And they kissed each other passionatly 6 months after dating.

Yesterday my boyfriend forgot to brush his teeth and when he came home from work and tried to kiss me I nearly gagged from the smell.

It was like roadkill baking in the sun.

I told him that his breath was bad and it hurt his feelings and that if I smell bad he says nothing to avoid hurting my feelings... I’m not sure what to do in the future because I’m pretty sure refusing to kiss him with no explanation would hurt his feelings just as much if not worse.

Personally, I want to be told if I smell bad and hearing that he had kept that from me made me feel pretty insecure.
