Getting nothing in return as in not getting any reciprocations from your woman (like phyically protecting you if you ever get severely too injured to defend yourself from danger).

I'm all for protecting my woman if she's willling to do the same for me and that we truly love each other enough to be ride and die partners but I hate it when a lot of men (especially on the internet) act as if it's a "scientifically proven" fact that all men have protective insticts for women, even if they provide no valid source or evidence to back up their claims. Sometimes, I feel that these men use that as an excuse to blindly defend any woman just because they think with their dicks believing that they'll get laid and be socially treated as heroes by the world for doing it.

Also, just because someone is a woman, doesn't mean I'll blindly automatically protect her just because of her gender. There are times where I've risked my life for my younger brother and father (had to drag both of them out of a high traffic road one time), and a male friend (who was jumped and nearly gang r@ped in an alley by a bunch of thug scums).

Does that make me gay/homosexual by these men's logic to feel naturally protective of not only women but men as well? Also by their logic, does that mean it's ever okay for women selfishly and cowardly leave their male loved ones for dead because it's expected of for men to demand no help at all? Anyways, back to my main question, do you think that should ever be all men/boys obligation to protect all women/girls at all cost to the point of getting yourself killed for nothing?

Please give honest answer, I would not do anything about it:

1. She at times puts her hand on my forearm when talking to me "but you don't understand (hand on arm)" or "you sh_t head! (hand on arm)"
2. She punches me sometimes, like I'll go to slap her five and she punches me
3. She asked to have some of the food from my plate, and to share half of a snack
4. She says STFU! and calls me sh_t head and stuff
5. She told me I looked gay with my new haircut in an aggressive way, I said the same back, but also that night she called me a generous person

She has a boyfriend, but isn't 100% into him

She has been jealous of my girlfriend before

I feel like there is some sexual tension, because literally there is no personal space barrier with her
