So there has been a girl I've had in 2 of my classes for almost a year... I've always had a pretty big crush on her all throughout. Prior to her, I've never had a serious crush. Prior to her, all my crushes only lasted like a day or two.

But for her, I did not just find her cute... I also really liked her overall personality in general. And I thought her personality traits complemented me quite well. She's usually quite cheerful and easygoing, chill, and calm... which complements my usually serious and worried about everything attitude. She's also very outgoing... which complements my shyness, and may help me also become more outgoing. She also does a lot on her free time, and has a lot of friends... which is good, since I don't usually do anything, and need something to do. She's also sort of goofy and silly, but also knows how to take things serious and work hard. And she's just generally really kind and polite.

But despite me thinking so much about her, she never seemed to notice me...

Till a day recently, whereas before entering my 5th period class, she stopped for a bit, smiled sweetly, and held the door for me. Without thinking I just smiled back and said, "Thank you... you seem like a very nice person, (her name)." Then she just smiled even more, and made a bashful facial expression and said, "Aww... really? Thank you!"

Then we went through the class period... then when we got out of the class for lunch, she tapped me on the shoulder and said, "You're so quiet and I was never sure whether to approach you or not, as I assumed you might be bothered. But you actually seem like a quite nice and welcoming person, and I'd really like to get to know you better. How about you sit with me and my friends at lunch, today?"

And I agreed... and I had a really good time with her and her friends! It sure beats sitting by myself everyday.

It's where I sit from now on, and she's always so welcoming to me, and she even gives me light hugs.
