Search Results: waiting to call after a break up

I really need some advice. I asked a similar question a little while back.

To sum up the story, my ex broke up with me a few months ago. This is our second time breaking up. We were only broken up for a week the first time. We have dated for almost 2 years.

The first time we broke up I called him a couple days later saying "I'm sorry for our fight and the break-up is a good thing because it will make us stronger", he said "it's a good thing you called me because I wouldn't have called you, a guy needs to give a girl her space when things like this happen". We got back together because he said "your my anchor, you keep me grounded. The past few days I haven't eaten, slept and I have felt sick to my stomach".

Just to add, he has had a history of "giving girls there space" and then making a reappearance. Well he has done it to his last ex gf. After they broke up, he gave her a couple months, asked her out to coffee and then told her he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her. She shut him down because he had already broken up with her twice as well!

My question is, do you think he could be waiting before getting in touch with me again? He has given me the option to call him whenever I like, but I haven't because I never wanted to settle for friends, so I decided to go no contact. We have only communicated about 3 times.
