Search Results: why does his friend stare

So there's guy in my friends class in college that started to lock eyes with me few weeks ago. He's good friend of my friend and we know each other but we've never talked. He started to lock eyes with me and we continued. Once I was outside with one friend from class and he said hi but I didn't said it back. But he continue to stare and lock eyes. Few days ago I entered with friend into his class. He was doing something on his laptop and he looked at me when I was entering and than he started to talk to his girl friend and laugh and he was loud. But he also turned torward me but didn't look when i looked.

Does that mean something?

So I tried saying hi yesterday
and he looked at the floor the whole time we passed each other!
luckily his friend was there and said hi so I don't look as stupid :/

I'm so confused because we talked before and he seemed really nice and sincere!
He actually flirted with me at one point! and he keeps staring at me from across the room

so I'm dead out of options please help :)
