here's my dilemma. Girls always say how attractive confidence is in a man. But matter of fact is, when a girl goes out, she is sorrounded by confident men. A girl is being asked out and talked to by confident men. She almost always only dates confident men. When she is in a club, she is mostly only approached by confident men. In social gatherings, clubs, bars, parties, there are more confident men than insecure ones.

My question is not if confidence is still attractive. My question is, if confidence is a little bit less impressive because of what i said above.

I asked a question yesterday: "Would you date a guy with ____, ____, ____. Most women voted no, but I couldn't tell which factor caused them to vote no, so I'm asking a set of questions to see which poll result most closely matches the poll result for yesterday's question.

Let me know if you voted in the poll and if you read the details of this question or not, seeing as the details and an explanation of what I'm doing could influence the results.

If you have read the details at least tell me you have read the details. Since I have no way of knowing how many people saw the details in yesterday's question, I will check and see how the disparity between answers and poll votes on yesterdays' question compares to the disparity of detail readers and poll voters on today's question.

I feel like the question says it all. However, I'll elaborate a bit here just to be clear. I have noticed that there are some people that are more involved in asking questions than they are in sharing their opinions.

Online help has perhaps helped you immensely in the past?

Is it because of how you level up quicker when you ask questions as opposed to sharing opinions?

Is it because you are more curious than the rest of us?

Is it because you feel that your opinions don't matter?

These are just some of the most random things that came to my mind. Of course, it could be all of the four above and many more or none of the above and many things not mentioned by me.

Do mention in detail what you think makes you ask more instead of sharing your opinions. I'm genuinely interested.

I, by the way, am more likely to share my opinions than asking questions on here. Like I do ask questions every now and then but those are few and far in between. However, I tend to notice a lot of the same people asking all the questions.

Also, a fun poll at the end to keep things interesting. I personally feel it will be 20%(askers) and 80%(opinion owners) by the time we are done. 👍

The title says it all... if you're curious about all the words with a slash, it's so this question is directed for both those who are in high school currently, and those who have already graduated from high school.

I included the poll options so it's easier, in case you don't want to write anything out... heck, you don't even need to read the whole poll option. I put the most important/to the point part in CAPS. The rest is just sort of extra information. You don't have to match it 100%, if the general idea still applies to you you're good enough to pick it.

ME, PERSONALLY, (stop reading if my personal take doesn't interest you) I'm basically the third option in the poll. In the middle. I'm a high school senior. Throughout high school, I've only taken 7 AP classes... none in my freshman year, one in my sophomore year, three in my junior year, and three currently in my senior year. I did some of my volunteer hours a while back this past summer, for helping animals in a shelter. I've never gave a shit about clubs, though.

I'd say I'm decently smart and ambitious, but I know MANY MANY people who make my "hard work" seem like nothing. I'm also better than a lot of people in that sense, but just as many people still make me seem like nothing. Overall, I guess that makes me "average."

I'm kind of confused. I've been getting to know this girl for the past couple of weeks, and it was pretty good in the going. She called my laugh a "cute white boy chuckle," we kept glancing over at each other--especially when laughing at some joke or some such--finding ourselves next to each other often, and she kept touching me through arm brushing and head patting and all of that. I have to admit that I didn't return the compliments or the touches, but I did accept them gladly and didn't move away when she was touching me. In fact, I was going to ask for her number yesterday, but then she started acting extremely strangely.
Yesterday started pretty similar to the other days; we kept glancing over at each other despite being at opposite ends of the classroom. I was going to ask for her number as I was walking with her down the hall, but I wasn't able to because she decided to leave with someone else. That was fine, I thought. But during the next class we had together, she kept going over to other boys at and behind our table and touching all over them and talking vehemently with them, while just completely avoiding me conversationally and physically. Every time our legs touched or our arms or something like that she let them stay there for a while and then moved them away. She kept glancing over at me and staring, however, typically twirling her hair on biting on her necklace. She was pretty to the point in asking the questions I gave her as well, in stark contrast from before, but she still remained playful. Then I later saw her walking with one of my friends and brushing all over him as well. How should I proceed? I was thinking about asking her if she could help with my homework, and then ask her for her number if she says yes. If she doesn't, then I know how she feels and I don't look like too much of a weirdo.

I asked this question before but didn't really get the answer I was looking for.

I have recently found a poll on here that asked the same question, and had some interesting results. What i was surprised to find was, Men were very likely to say boys should be spanked but girls shouldn't. While Women were more likely to say girls should be spanked but boys shouldn't.

I simply wanted to ask this question again to see if i can get the same results, and wanted to see how people feel about this. I'm not nearly as interested in the actual debate itself. What I'm interested in is why so many people only support spanking their own gender.

If you believe one gender should be spanked but not the other please explain why you feel this way.

I want girls to know that you don't have to be sexy or pretty or hot to be able to get a guy or even to get married, I think girls worry too much about their weight and their size because they don't think about when later in life, they could have someone in their life, some of the prettier girls still get guys I hate saying a ugly and I hate it when girls say it too.
My question on this poll is, do you think you'll listen to my advice?

This poll is prompted by a question from @Kyren (Why do you believe women initiate divorces more than men in general? ) that cited research showing that 70+% of divorces are initiated by women.

I'm curious whether the statistics for those in the GaG community are similar.

For this poll, "initiate" means when you actually physically separated (someone moved out), who was the one that said it's time to do that.
